SINGER CELESTE COVERS WONDERLAND SPRING 2021 ISSUE

This time last year Celeste had just been

crowned winner of BBC Music’s Sound

of 2020, and was preparing for the BRIT

Awards performance of her single

"Strange" that stole the whole show.

She claimed the Rising Star Award

that night, and today, nearly 12 months

later, she’s cementing that title with

her debut album Not Your Muse.

Featuring fan favourites “Lately” and

“Father’s Son”, the album stretches

from Celeste’s early soul and jazz

influenced sound to more pop-leaning

hits. With intimate lyrics about

everything from letting go of love to

welcoming new love in, it’s

an understated but powerful collection

of tracks that bring us right into her

inner world.
