Having starred as the imperious lead in the biggest show of all time, it’s safe to say Emilia Clarke’s star has already risen. Despite the success of her turn as Game of Thrones’ "mother of dragons”, Daenerys Targaryen,  Clarke is still somewhat at the genesis of her acting career. Having dedicated the best part of a decade to George R.R Martin’s sprawling masterpiece, the actor now finds herself almost starting again, namely with the Emma Thompson-written seasonal offering: Last Christmas. Here, she chats to Wonderland about social media, dealing with two brain haemorrhages, and life beyond the series.
