"I think it was something I always wanted
to do, that seed was always there. I think
it was just figuring out where, how, and
what my lane would be. But the fascination
has definitely always been there, I remember
watching my mum get her makeup done
when I was little and I was always so
inquisitive with the make up artist and
asked, ‘What’s this colour? Where does
this shade go? How do you apply this?’
And then at the end of the day I’d sit in
the bathroom and watch [my mum]
wash her face and do her whole routine
and when she’d go to sleep I’d sneak
into her bedroom take all the products
she used and go to my room and try
to recreate it on myself. So, that love
has always been there."
